Most of our days are spent in worry. Sometimes, those worries are frivolous, the kind that will disappear in a few days or (even better) the kind that will never come to pass at all. Other times, though, the worries that occupy our minds are serious, life-threatening and heartbreaking.
Either way, our worries can be all-consuming. They lead us to despair and fear. But whether we are fretting over making it on time to a movie or grieving the impending loss of a loved one, God commands us one thing: fear not.
Give Him your fears and your worries. Give Him all your thoughts and your emotions. Give Him what is too heavy for you to carry. Let go and let God be with you wherever you may go.
